Aspiring filmmaker Kai is about to start his exchange semester at a film school in the Czech Republic, but is surprised by the exercise he is given. He is handed a Camcorder with the task to shoot a documentary about the life in Písek and the school itself. As he gets more used to the camcorder, he records his experiences as an international student and the bonds formed with the other students experiencing this country and school for the first time.
